Renter may serve alcoholic beverages at the renter’s event at the Hollingsworth House subject to the following requirements and conditions:

  1. Only beer, wine, and champagne may be served.

  2. Renter is fully responsible for providing any desired alcoholic beverages.The City of Fayetteville and the Downtown Development Authority will not participate in the provision of alcoholic beverages.

  3. Renter assumes responsibility for the conduct of participants of the rental event and will hold the City of Fayetteville, the DDA, and their agents, officers and employees harmless for all actions of the participants.

  4. The City of Fayetteville reserves the right to immediately discontinue authorization to serve alcohol at any time it deems it is in the best interest of the City, the DDA, and the Hollingsworth House to do so.

  5. The sale of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited. As an example, there can be no “cash bar” or sale of drink tickets.

  6. Alcoholic beverages are to be available only to participants of the rental event.

  7. Participants at the rental event are not allowed to carry into the house any individual containers of alcoholic beverages (example: BYOB).

  8. Bar setups must be approved by DDA staff or representatives prior tothe event. Special precautions must be taken to prevent coolers, kegs, etc. from leaking water onto carpet and/or wood floors. Renter must provide the necessary materials to accomplish this.
